About Rose

My name is Rossitza Atanassova but you can call me Rose. I was born in Bulgaria where I lived for the first wonderful 30 years of my life.
There I graduated musical pedagogy –a vocal and instrumental Bachelor’s degree (1999) and later on a Master’s degree (2005). I taught students in the general school system in Grades 5-9 as well as musical school students in Grades 9-12. I also played violin in different orchestras until I came to Canada.
Since I arrived in Canada in 2005, I have been volunteering in many schools as Orchestra and Choir director, assisting with concert planning and production, co-teaching extracurricular activities, small instrumental ensembles, and everything you can think of, related to music.
